Welcome to our website: Home-based Research Group for Pig Model Anatomy.
This site was established in January 2026 and is dedicated to comparative anatomical research on pig models of human diseases. The Home-based Research Group for Pig Model Anatomy is composed of doctors, veterinarians, researchers and others who are interested in the comparative anatomy of pig models. It is a nonprofit and informal research group. We hope to inspire our colleagues by showcasing the research achievements and experimental experiences of our research group. We also hope to have two-way communication with colleagues in related fields through this site, complementing each other.
Our two major features are as follows: home-based research and lard-based vascular perfusion technology in cadavers.
Home-based scientific research enables us to conduct scientific research without leaving home, and to the greatest extent, it eliminates the restrictions on scientific research, such as experimental sites and equipment. We have benefited greatly from it.
We first employed and reported the use of lard-based vascular perfusion technology in cadavers. It is simple and environmentally friendly. This technology has greatly lowered the threshold for home-based scientific research and liberated productivity. It also benefited us a lot. To some extent, this technology seems to be tailor-made for home-based research.
Our goal: To explore the anatomy of more pig models and serve scientific research and clinical practice.
Our image logo: The overall appearance is a house, symbolizing home-based research, which is our first feature. The load-bearing walls of the house are made of lard, indicating that the use of lard-based vascular perfusion technology in cadavers is our second feature. The roof is in the shape of an M, symbolizing the models. The green background around the house indicates that home-based research is environmentally friendly and harmless to humans and animals. The statue of a pig’s head implies that the subject of study is pigs.
